October 21 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm

Burnside bridge

Join Potomac Riverkeeper Network on October 21st from 12 – 1 pm for a discussion with Upper Potomac Riverkeeper, Brent Walls on his most recent project in the Antietam Watershed. In May 2026, Brent completed an assessment examining the impacts of PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” on rural communities in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

During this webinar, Brent will share:

  • What the project revealed about PFAS in the Antietam Watershed
  • What it means for rural communities that rely on private wells
  • Steps communities can take to better understand and address PFAS contamination

Come prepared with any burning PFAS related questions for a Q&A session at the end of the webinar!
