This series explores the impacts of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on our environment and rural communities. Part II of this series, Policymaking to Safeguard Human Health and Environment from PFAS in Biosolids, will examine how stakeholders and lawmakers devise, enact, and implement policy strategies to address this complicated and urgent threat that PFAS in land-applied biosolids poses to human health, farm businesses, the agricultural economy, and environment. Our distinguished panel of experts will share their insights from learning about this issue from experts and constituents, engaging diverse stakeholders to identify solutions, and how policies have met both success and set-back.
