DESCRIPTION:Please join the Potomac Riverkeeper Network (PRKN) for a brand new annual fundraising event\, Splash and Dash! This event will encourage individuals\, families\, and corporate teams to get physically active on or alongside the Potomac River — running\, walking\, or swimming — while raising awareness and funds to protect and restore the Potomac and Shenandoah rivers.  \n\n\n\nThe first event\, the 5K Walk/Run\, brings together community members\, outdoor enthusiasts\, and river supporters alike for a scenic walk/run along the Potomac River in beautiful National Harbor\, MD. Our route begins at the National Harbor plaza\, nearby the Capital Wheel\, and continues NE along the riverbank to Potomac River Waterfront Park on Rosilie Island – this route will loop to complete the 5K! \n\n\n\nNot only is this event fun and active\, but you also raise funds for a good cause!
