This series explores the impacts of toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on our environment\, agriculture\, and rural communities. Part III of this series\, Farmers’ Perspective on Biosolids\, PFAS\, and Stewarding Farms and the Environment\, will convene a panel of farm owners and operators to discuss their experience with biosolids and view of how the practice of using biosolids impacts farm businesses and the environment. From cultivating grains and vegetables to raising livestock\, our panel of working farmers from Maryland and Virginia will share their thoughts on what farmers need to know about biosolids and PFAS in order to maintain healthy and productive farms.
