SUMMARY:Virginia Osprey Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Virginia Osprey Festival is one of the largest festivals of its kind celebrating the return of the osprey to Colonial Beach\, birdwatching and the area’s abundant natural resources. \n\n\n\nLearn about the resurgence of the osprey along the Potomac. And last year\, Potomac Riverkeeper Network and Potomac River Fisheries Commission launched Colonial Beach’s first ever Community Science Water Quality Monitoring Program — learn more about last year’s results. Come learn more about volunteer opportunities to engage in the science of clean water\, help collect water samples and learn lab techniques to make sure the river is safe for fishing\, swimming\, and Ospreys! \n\n\n\nJoin Emily Franc\, VP of Development and Philanthropy\, other PRKN staff\, and the Sea Dog for a great day celebrating oysters and water quality monitoring. \n\n\n\n\nPURCHASE TICKETS
